The Centre of Cooperation represented at the 42nd Congress of the German Sociological Association
From 22 to 26 September 2025, the 42nd Congress of the German Sociological Association took place at the University of Duisburg-Essen. The Centre of Cooperation participated with two presentations by Fabian Hoose:
- In the ad hoc group Work in Transition: Self-employed Work in Contemporary Society (AdH9) with the contribution Between Platform Dependency and Market Design: Insights into the Economic Activities of Self-employed Content Creators on Social Media Platforms (together with Fabian Beckmann and Sophie Rosenbohm, IAQ).
- In the ad hoc group Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence and the Restructuring of the Labour Market (AdH4) with the contribution Working between Autonomy and Algorithms: A Look at Platform Dependency and Precarity Risks of Content Creators (together with Sophie Rosenbohm, IAQ).
