Representation of workers interests in the industrial transformation

Anyone interested in the industrial transformation can take part in the workshop ‘Representing interests in the industrial transformation’ on 27 May 2025 in the atrium of the O-Werk in Bochum. All interested parties will be offered a comprehensive programme on the challenges of structural change.

The workshop offers researchers, students and representatives of trade unions and companies the opportunity to discuss experiences with and research findings on the challenges of industrial structural change for companies and for trade union and company representation of interests. The workshop marks the conclusion of the research module of the same name in the social science study programme Management and Regulation of Work, Economy and Organisation (MaRAWO) and the project funded by the Hans Böckler Foundation under the direction of Prof. Dr Birgit Apitzsch, Prof. Dr Manfred Wannöffel, Prof. Dr Rasmus Beck (both Ruhr University Bochum) and Prof. Dr Daniel Buhr (Eberhard Karls University Tübingen).

The workshop will take place from 9 am to 3 pm. Registration is possible until 06 May at: sozaww-lehre@ruhr-uni-bochum.de. Further information on the programme will follow shortly.
