Vocational Training 4.0 visits the learning and research factory

2023-11-09

Azubimodul Arbeit der Zukunft

Learn about and develop technical innovation!

With this slogan, third- and fourth-year apprentices from Diebold Nixdorf, the manufacturer of POS systems and ATMs at the Paderborn site, visited the CPS Learning and Research Factory on November 9, 2023 together with Tanja Werres (Plant Manager Diebold Nixdorf Paderborn), Horst Greifenstein (Works Council Diebold Nixdorf Paderborn) and the IG Metall secretaries Alexander Missfeldt and Felix Wagner as part of the company's "Model Project for the Technology Location Paderborn".

Tobias Schmelter (Chair of Production Systems) and Alexander Ranft (Center of Cooperation RUB/IGM) introduced the participants both theoretically and practically into various scenarios of assistance systems, which were then evaluated according to their socio-technical design potential as well as the criteria of learning promotion. We would like to thank all participants for the exciting exchange and wish them all the best for the continued successful implementation of the digital transformation!
