On 28 September 2021, a transfer mission statement was published together with employees of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum as an orientation framework for the employees. Prof. Dr. Manfred Wannöffel and Charlotte Reineke from the Centre of Cooperation RUB/IGM were involved in the development of the mission statement. The new transfer mission statement shows that transfer activities are a multi-directional process. RUB promotes dialogue-oriented exchange between its members and various social actors. The multidirectional exchange is of mutual benefit: Researchers and lecturers gain insights into social currents and developments and in turn take these up in research and lecturing. Their work becomes more topical and thus increases the relevance of the results for social actors. The RUB thus makes a direct contribution to the further development of society.
