What qualifications do works council members need? Review

On 1 October, the Hans Böckler Foundation invited participants to discuss the question: ‘How can we work together to shape a future centred on co-determination, fairness and solidarity?’ Fabian Hoose from the Joint Office of RUB/IGM discussed the results of a large-scale works council survey conducted as part of a research project during a session at LABOR.A together with Oliver Venzke (IGBCE), Johanna Ueckermann (EVA, Academy of the EVG), Sandra Mierich (HBS), Nils Werner (HBS) and Sabrina Glanz (Centre of Cooperation RUB/IGM) discussed the results of the large-scale works council survey conducted as part of the QuBA³ research project. The focus was on the question of how fair and effective access to training for works council members can be designed.
