Around 12 months after the first initial meeting between the Eickhoff works council and the center of cooperation RUB/IGM, the company parties were able to sign a framework works agreement on AI last December!

Based on the HUMAINE Toolbox content of the co-determination dialogues and the AI model works agreement, the center of cooperation RUB/IGM supported the company parties during the past year in jointly identifying regulatory requirements in terms of company and labour policy and addressing them in the form of the AI framework works agreement. To look back on this successful process, representatives from Eickhoff, the center of cooperation RUB/IGM and HUMAINE met at the Eickhoffpark premises in Bochum on 19 January 2026.

We would like to thank the people at Eickhoff for the trust and the good cooperation we have enjoyed so far, and are looking forward to continue supporting the practical work with the AI framework agreement in the future! The insights gained over the past few months represent a key contribution to the finalisation of the AI model framework agreement and the related guidelines.
