On 9 July 2025, we cordially invite you to our anniversary celebration in the atrium of the O-Werk in Bochum from 3.30 pm. To mark 50 years of the cooperation agreement between the Rectorate of Ruhr-Universität Bochum and the Executive Board of IG Metall, we would like to take a look back at this unique cooperation between a university and an industrial trade union - and at the same time look ahead against the backdrop of major socio-political challenges.
