The WorkSpace " Consulting " of the Ch@nge Ruhr project

2022-06-02

was successfully carried out on 02 June!

The first WorkSpace " Consulting" of the project Ch@nge Ruhr took place on 02.06.2022 in the Mensa Foyer of the RUB. With more than 20 advisors, the work orientation in the advisory practice for and with SMEs in digitalisation processes was discussed and different advisory approaches were exchanged. The WorkSpace serves as a first offer for further networking, which will be supplemented in the coming months by the Future-HUB with the help of counselling profiles and practical examples. "Through this [the HUB], we would like to open up the possibility of presenting work-oriented counselling offers and thus increase transparency in the counselling landscape for SMEs seeking advice," says Peter Ittermann from the Social Research Centre at TU Dortmund University.

The " Consulting" workspace will be continued in the progress of the project in further joint event formats with counsellors in order to work out and strengthen thematic orientations for SMEs on work-oriented counselling approaches.
As a project of the Ruhr Conference, Ch@nge Ruhr is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia. In Ch@nge Ruhr, a digital future-hub is being developed that bundles good examples, tools and exchange formats for SMEs to accompany digital change and to sustainably strengthen the transformation and design competence for digital change in SMEs. The project is being carried out by the Institute for Work and Technology (IAT) of the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences (coordinating partner), the Institute for Work and Qualification (IAQ) of the University of Duisburg-Essen, the Social Research Centre Dortmund (sfs) of the TU Dortmund, as well as the Centre of Cooperation Ruhr-Universität Bochum/IG Metall and the Chair of Production Systems (LPS) of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
