The aim of the cooperation project is to bundle the regional expertise of labour research, consultancy and company practice in a future hub

and to apply them exemplarily in the sectors industry/production, logistics and health. Cooperation project of the Instituts Arbeit und Technik (Westfälische Hochschule, Projektkoordination), the Institut Arbeit und Qualifikation (Universität Duisburg-Essen), the Sozialforschungsstelle Dortmund (Technische Universität Dortmund) as well as the Centre of Cooperation RUB/IG Metall and the chair of production systems (Ruhr-Universität Bochum). The project is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, it started in October 2020 with an activation and concretisation phase and will enter the implementation phase from January 2021 (total duration: approx. 2 years) .
